Fans of Funcom’s Conan-themed open world survival game, Conan Exiles, will soon have some exciting new powers to play with – launching on September 1, a free content update titled Age of Sorcery will allow players to master the art of dark sorcery, a sinister power that feeds on its wielder’s own life force. Along with the introduction of sorcery, the game will also receive a new attribute and perk system to further enhance customization, a new building interface and even a so-called Creative Mode. According to Funcom, Age of Sorcery will be the first season in a new model introduced for Conan Exiles: going forward, seasons will each come with their own unique theme, a bevy of free content updates and paid Battle Passes. Additionally, to celebrate the new update, the game will be free to try on Steam between September 1-8, and on Xbox between September 8-11.
