That’s no exaggeration – the entirety of Westeros, the world in which popular novel-inspired TV show Game of Thrones takes place, will soon be a location you can visit in Minecraft. What started off as a project involving just a handful of people is now the combined effort of a good 125 people, all working together in order to recreate George R.R. Martin’s popular fantasy landscapes (and cities, as well as everything in-between), one block at a time.
But don’t take my word for it, here’s a recent video (narrated by actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran Stark in the show) that demonstrates what the project now looks like, four years after it was first started. The official site of the project is available here, with an entire host of impressive screenshots for you to check out.
