Developer 18Light Game’s NanoApostle never claimed it wasn’t going to be challenging: described as a dark sci-fi boss rush game with fast-paced action, it puts players in the role of Anita, a young girl with cutting-edge nanomachine augmentations who’s trying to escape a secret research facility while battling the hulking bio-weapon monstrosities that stand in her way. Said bio-weapons are certainly no walks in the park, and are designed to really put your skills to the test, with encounters that only get harder and harder as they escalate, and bosses that evolve and change tactics when threatened. But don’t take my word for it, see the game in action for yourself – we took NanoApostle for an extended spin, and had a first-hand experience of just how punishing its boss fights can be.
