The mysterious new project Paradox Interactive has been teasing for several weeks now has officially been announced as Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, a sequel to the beloved cult classic RPG from 2004. Developed by Hardsuit Labs and set in the city of Seattle, Bloodlines 2 will put players in the role of a thin-blooded vampire as they navigate the treacherous, conspiracy-laden world of the Kindred. Although not much has been revealed about the story and its connections to the original, the team confirmed that Bloodlines 2 does indeed take place in the same world as its predecessor, and that certain fan favorite characters will show up during the adventure – what’s more, we’ve learned that original Bloodlines writer/designer Brian Mitsoda will return as the lead narrative designer for Bloodlines 2, alongside writers Cara Ellison and Chris Avellone. A Season Pass titled “Season of the Wolf” has also been unveiled, which will give players access to two additional story packs and an expansion.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be launching in Q1 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Pre-orders are currently only available on PC via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store and Paradox’s own site. Console and physical retail pre-orders will go live at a later date.
