Publisher XSEED and developer FuRyu have officially launched Trinity Trigger on both PC and console platforms. Inspired in large part by classic JRPGs from days gone by, Trinity Trigger mixes retro-style gameplay and visuals with modern elements – players will go on a traditional hero’s journey to defy the gods and save the world while exploring a set of diverse landscapes, from scorching deserts to freezing snowfields. Unique to the game are the so-called Triggers: magical creatures capable of transforming into eight types of weapons, each of which must be used cleverly in order to exploit enemy weaknesses. It’s also worth noting that the game supports local cooperative play as well, allowing up to three players to tackle the journey together. Check out the launch trailer below:
