Ever wondered what the final climactic battle between Ocarina of Time’s Link and Ganondorf would look like as a live-action movie? Well, wonder no more, because The Zelda Project has you covered: in a collaboration with Player Piano, they aim to bring the world of Hyrule to life via a fan film called The Final Battle, hoping to re-enact – you guessed it – the final battle of Ocarina of Time. The Zelda Project is a Los Angeles-based group of fans who are passionate about bringing the world of The Legend of Zelda – particularly that of the popular N64 installment, Ocarina of Time – to life through film and photography. The Final Battle is the culmination of 2 years’ worth of hard work according to the group’s official page.
Remember though, that this is mostly just a teaser and a prequel to the full film set to be released sometime this year, and as such, mostly just consist of Link and his trusty steed, without really showing much else.
