First-person psychological thriller Tape, from developer BlackChiliGoat and publisher SIE Espana, is out now on both PC and PlayStation – so if you’re in the mood for a truly time-bending adventure, there’s no time like the present… or the past, or the future. Taking place in northern Spain during the 1990s, Tape stars a young woman named Iria who must reclaim her lost memories and discover how and why her father, a famed horror movie director, disappeared. During her investigation, Iria will largely rely on a Super8 camera to quite literally rewind or fast-forward various objects in time, allowing her to gain deeper insight into the mystery as she explores various surreal locations inspired by her father’s work. Here’s the launch trailer for your viewing pleasure:

Tape is currently available for $19,99 / €19,99 with a 20% discount during the game’s launch week.
