The creators of This War of Mine, a game dealing with the depressing realities of war, have announced their latest project under the name Frostpunk. And… let’s just say you won’t be picking flowers on the fields while singing jolly songs in this game, either: Frostpunk takes place in a harsh, merciless world ruled by snow and ice, where humanity had to rely on steam-powered technology to survive. The focus will seemingly be on difficult moral choices, and the game appears to emphasize the question of what becomes of humanity and morality in the face of survival.
The
game is expected to launch on PC sometime in 2017.
