Frogwares’ upcoming Lovecraftian adventure game, The Sinking City, is back with a new gameplay video: this time, protagonist Charles Reed is shown talking to people and investigating crime scenes as part of a specific in-game mission. The Sinking City, by the way, is actually an open world title that lets you freely explore the titular city as you see fit, and won’t hold your hand in terms of how you go about solving a given case. The video of the aforementioned mission is a little over 12 minutes long and comes with developer commentary as well – you can watch it below:
The game is scheduled to launch on June 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. On PC, however, it will be an Epic Games Store exclusive for a year, meaning it won’t launch on Steam until 2020.
