Ever played a point & click adventure game and thought to yourself “boy I sure would like to beat these people up in a series of turn-based battles”? Well, if you have, I’m delighted to report that not only is The Girl of Glass: A Summer Bird’s Tale a point & click game with lavish, hand-painted visuals, it’s also got a battle system. And guess what, it’s turn-based. A Summer Bird’s Tale tells the story of Kristal, the titular girl of glass who, in a move reminiscent of classic fairy tales, leaves the circus she’s been working at to embark on a quest filled with adventure and self-discovery – and if you’d like to have a quick go at it yourself, it does actually have a playable demo out right now.
