Dystopian tabletop roleplaying game Paranoia is getting a video game adaptation – developed by Cyanide Studio and Black Shamrock, Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory will take you to Alpha Complex, a retro-futuristic city controlled by the misleadingly named Friend Computer, an artificial intelligence that wants you to abide by its strict rules or face lethal consequences. You lead a group of Troubleshooters tasked with hunting down traitors, but watch out – the Friend Computer may reward you for good service, but will not hesitate to execute you, should you break the rules. The game will have you control a group of four characters and will utilize a “real time with pause” type of battle system that you may know from classic RPGs such as Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale and so on.

Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory will be released for PC and consoles later this year.
