Syberia: The World Before, serving as the fourth installment in Microids’ cult-classic point & click adventure game series, is getting delayed to next year. Originally slated for a December 10 launch, the game will now be releasing sometime in Q1 2022, a recent post from the project’s official page revealed. Announced all the way back in August of 2019, Syberia: The World Before is particularly fascinating since it tells its story through parallel timelines: it follows series protagonist Kate Walker in 2004 as she embarks on a brand-new adventure, while also traveling back to the past – to 1937 – where a young pianist called Dana Roze faces the looming threat of World War II.
