Developer PikPok has announced Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, a chilling zombie-themed survival game. Set in 1980 in Walton City, Texas, the game focuses on a group of survivors trying their best not to succumb to the undead outbreak that’s devastated their country; they’ll have to stealthily make their way through a zombie-infested town in search of a supposed safe zone, but, as one might imagine, the road leading there will be no walk in the park. Players will be expected to craft, scavenge and create temporary shelter in their battle for survival, all the while making difficult moral decisions as they’re forced to decide who lives and who dies – remember, other people can be just as much a source of threat as the zombies themselves. The game also promises dynamic environments that change over time, offering something new for every playthrough. Watch the announcement trailer below:
