A Space for the Unbound, a pixel art adventure game from Mojiken, has received a new trailer, and I was pleased to reconfirm that the game whose demo I briefly tried during last year’s LudoNarraCon is still just as intriguing as it was back then. Taking place in Indonesia during the late 90s, the game tells the slice-of-life story of two young people – a boy and a girl with supernatural powers – while tackling topics of anxiety and depression, among other things.

Here’s what I had to say about the demo last year:

“A Space for the Unbound is an audiovisual delight, with some genuinely soothing, emotive BGM and jaw-dropping pixel art – what's more, the demo's narrative also sets the stage for a potentially interesting mystery that may or may not involve diving into people's hearts to explore their inner fears and desires. Said demo also ended on a cliffhanger that left me craving for more, and while I'm still not quite sure exactly what direction the story will go in, I'm more than eager to find out. Two thumbs up.”

Without further ado, here’s the aforementioned trailer:
