Ususrper, a Metroidvania-style action-RPG in the vein of classics such as Symphony of the Night and Super Metroid is
up on Steam’s Greenlight service, hoping to amass some votes in order to be greenlit. Albeit being a sequel to developer Pugware’s previous title,
Shrouded in Sanity, Usurper apparently works as a standalone title that can be played on its own. Usurper will see you untangle a story taking place in an alternative, late 19thcentury London being invaded by dark forces – you explore the huge, interconnected maps of the so-called The Citadel, encountering a whole range of different areas, enemies, and bosses.
A playable demo is also nearing completion (it is expected to release in about a week), with the final version currently being scheduled for a March release.
