That’s right – according to Blizzard’s recent announcement, StarCraft 2 is indeed going free to play. From November 14, the first story campaign, Wings of Liberty, will be available for free, along with access to the game’s online multiplayer mode. But what if you already own Wings of Liberty? Well, in that case, you’ll be getting a free copy of the second campaign, Heart of the Swarm, provided you log in to your Battle.net account between November 8 and December 8 to claim it. Additionally, Co-op Commanders are also available for free up to level five, with Raynor, Kerrigan and Artanis being completely free to level without restrictions.
