All in the Family describes itself as a “narrative exploration experience” in which you take a trip back to your old family house to discover the truth behind your sister’s suicide and your mother’s murder. A spooky house will be explored and dark secrets will be unveiled, no doubt – but what really caught my attention was the promise of “no jump-scares” and “no monsters lurking behind dark corners”, which is always a plus in a horror landscape so obsessed with screaming into my face at every opportunity. So that’s good.
All in the Family will be releasing on PC and Mac this April, with support for the Oculus Rift arriving after the initial release.
