A handful of new screenshots have emerged for Tormented Souls, a gorgeous-looking survival horror game heavily inspired by the great-grandfathers of the genre, including Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark. The game follows the story of Caroline Walker, a young woman who wakes up alone in a mysterious mansion-turned-hospital and must tackle all kinds of horrors in her quest for survival. True to the classics, Tormented Souls utilizes fixed-perspective viewpoints with a dynamic camera, and will feature both nightmarish monstrosities and mind-bending puzzles for players to overcome, as well as an alternate dimension that can only be accessed through mirrors.
