You wake up tied to a chair, with no recollection of what had just happened and how you got here. The phone rings and a mysterious child talks to you about things you don’t quite understand. Then zombies show up. You also pick up a gun from the gory remains of an exploding turkey. Indeed, Jorry is a bizarre game, but it works – aiming to imitate the survival horror titles of the 90s, it offers a combination of fighting off monsters and figuring out puzzles in order to escape, all to the tune of some highly atmospheric background music. Also, did I mention that your gun uses teeth as ammunition? Teeth that you get from blowing zombie heads to smithereens? Yeah, there’s that, too.
Either way, if that piqued your interest (and it probably did), you’ll be happy to hear that there’s a playable demo for you to try.
