One of the more unique dungeon crawlers of the original Nintendo DS, Strange Journey, is getting an improved remake on the 3DS, came a recent announcement. Titled Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey, the remake is based on the 2009 title, with a host of additional content, including a new character not seen before in the original. The story of the game takes its protagonists to the Antarctica, where a strange domain called the Schwarzwelt threatens to destroy the world – by exploring it, our heroes meet a host of fantastical creatures including angels and demons.
Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey is scheduled for release this year in Japan. There has been no word on a western release.
