Blake J. Harris’ book, titled „Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the Battle That Defined a Generation” will be getting a TV show adaptation by Legendary. The novel, released in 2014, gives a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic console war between Nintendo and Sega that raged on during the 1990s, focusing specifically on Sega of America’s then-CEO Tom Kalinske. Helming the project is Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts, with Mike Rosolio penning the pilot episode. Point Grey Pictures’ Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver are also involved as executive producers.
