After releasing on PC and Xbox last year, atmospheric sci-fi adventure game Somerville is set to launch on PlayStation come August 31. Developer Jumpship’s somber narrative game focuses on the journey of a determined man searching for his family in the midst of an alien invasion, and chronicles the impact, as well as the disturbing circumstances of this global catastrophe. While trying to survive the sheer devastation of the invasion, players will have to adapt to their new environment, solve a variety of puzzles and escape the clutches of the alien life forms that, to put it mildly, aren’t exactly in the mood for friendship and diplomacy.
