NIGHTMARE OPERATOR, the third-person action-horror game set in a haunted Tokyo, has received a brand-new trailer. Developer DDDistortion’s project takes players to the near-future of 2036 – to the so-called Quarantine City of Shin-Chiba, where they’ll be placed in the role of a youkai hunter called Misha facing off against a great variety of supernatural anomalies and mystical beings inspired by folklore and urban legends. The aforementioned trailer actually showcases a good number of them: from the dangerous, spear-wielding Inugami to the creepy, slit-mouthed Kuchisake-Jyoshi and the endlessly disturbing skeleton-creature known as Rafflesia, we’ve got quite the nightmare-inducing lineup here.
