Dark Souls 3 couldn’t quite meet your daily intake requirement for dragon-themed media, how about this one? Scalebound, first announced during E3 2014, is an Xbox One-exclusive action game from Hideki Kamiya and Platinum Games, seemingly mixing Devil May Cry-esque hack and slash madness with… well, having a dragon as a partner. Because why not. The most recent Gamescom trailer for the game showed off – other than its less than optimal framerate – how the hero-dragon dynamic works out, and it sort of goes as you might expect: with raging dragonfire and explosions aplenty.
And in case this is something you’d want to try with some good company, it was also revealed that the game would feature 4-player co-op as well. The more the merrier, I guess.
