The Good Life, the open-world mystery/adventure game directed by Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro of Deadly Premonition fame, has found a publisher. SWERY, in a new Kickstarter update, announced that the team had partnered with London-based indie publisher The Irregular Corporation – what’s more, he also revealed that the game is currently scheduled to launch in the summer of 2021. According to the update, this decision will affect The Good Life in a variety of positive ways: American and English characters will be voiced by American and English VAs respectively, the game will receive some extra proofreading, and more UI/text languages will be supported, to name a few. So, all in all, it looks very much like SWERY’s latest bizarre adventure will be absolutely worth the wait.

The story of The Good Life centers around Naomi Hayward, a New York journalist who finds herself in the sleepy little English town of Rainy Woods where people mysteriously transform into cats and dogs at night.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
