After seventeen years, it looks like we’re getting a new Rune game in the form of Rune: Ragnarok. Originally released in 2000, Rune was a third-person, Norse mythology-inspired action game where you hacked, slashed, and dismembered your enemies to your heart’s content – and then beat them up with their own severed limbs. According to Human Head, Rune: Ragnarok is going to be an open-world RPG, and although we haven’t really seen too much of it just yet, it does sound mighty promising.

Other than Rune, Human Head Studios is also known for 2006’s Prey as well as its cancelled sequel, which, by the way, is not to be confused with 2017’s Prey from Arkane Studios.
