Indie developer Pet Project Games have revealed a shiny new trailer for Ripout, a co-op horror FPS featuring derelict spaceships, poorly-lit corridors and – of course – entire hordes of disgusting mutant abominations for you to go toe-to-toe with. Featuring short-ish missions of 10 to 20 minutes with varying objectives, Ripout lets your team loose on procedurally generated spaceships, making sure to always have a surprise or two in store – including relentless mutants capable of merging together (by assimilating other, smaller creatures) in order to “evolve” in unexpected ways. Between missions, players will get to hang out in a nice and cozy hub area to manage their loadouts, interact with other players or play minigames to kill some time.
Ripout is currently slated for a 2022 release, but this trailer should make the wait a touch more bearable:
