Developer Puppet Combo will be launching its retro-style survival horror game, The Glass Staircase, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Switch on May 24. Described as being inspired by classic PlayStation 2-era games and Italian zombie movies, The Glass Staircase will invite players into a mysterious mansion and challenge them to unlock all its horrifying secrets – if they dare. Now, if you grew up with old school Resident Evil games or even the early Alone in the Dark titles (or the lesser-known PS2 cult classic, Rule of Rose), you’ll know exactly what to expect: fixed camera angles, a moody soundtrack, dangers lurking at every corner that you may or may not see because of said camera angles... and so on.
