Publisher/developer XD Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Sword of Convallaria, an upcoming tactical RPG inspired by industry classics. Hoping to revitalize a storied genre, the game will whisk players away into a rich, pixelated fantasy universe as they become the leaders of a mercenary group hoping to bring peace back to a conflict-riddled nation. During the story campaign, you’ll have to recruit various characters to your group while learning skills, forging new gear and completing missions from a variety of factions – battles will be tough, tactical and turn-based, with every choice potentially altering the outcome of the narrative and the fates of your characters.
