Developer The Bricks Studio and publisher Short N Sweet have revealed an August 23 launch date for Mirrored Souls, a relaxing puzzle-platformer game. Described as a “single-player co-op” experience, the game present players with a rather unique premise: they are to control the game’s two protagonists, Ravi and Daru, at the same time on a mirrored screen while solving intricate, “Braid-like” puzzles. Dealing with themes of living in the present and the fleeting nature of life and love, Mirrored Souls is also advertised as a particularly chill, relaxed experience inspired in part by the atmosphere of Journey, with players given plenty of opportunities to kick back and enjoy the vibrant scenery while trying to figure out how to unite the two lovers.
