Developer Jukai Studio and publisher Versus Evil have announced that their upcoming psychological horror game Stray Souls will be launching this year for PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox Series S/X. The game stars Daniel, a young teenage boy who ends up inheriting a home from his grandmother, and ends up having to face the dark secrets of the haunted town of Aspen Falls… as well as those of his own past. Inspired by Japanese survival horror classics, Stray Souls will feature combat that emphasizes resource management, along with plenty of mind-bending puzzles to solve – however, it further spices things up by adding randomized elements (such as enemy and item placement, changing weather conditions and so on) to keep each playthrough fresh.
