Indie dev DarKnot Team has announced that their upcoming third-person psychological horror game, unsurprisingly titled DarKnot, will be launching later this year on Steam Early Access. Described as a dark and haunting title with a focus on immersion, DarKnot will throw players into a seemingly never-ending labyrinth resembling the streets of a massive city, forcing them not only to survive on their own, but also to figure out exactly who they are, and why they are here. Packed with deadly foes and challenging puzzles, the game will let you develop your own play style by specializing in a certain field: as a Survivor, for example, you’ll be able to craft powerful weapons to serve your needs, while the Fugitive hides from monsters and avoids confrontations, relying instead on his tarot cards – albeit at the cost of his sanity. For those hungry for a brief taste of the adventure, a playable demo is also currently available to download from Steam.
