Developer Hadoque has revealed Ultros, a metroidvania-style action-adventure game with a strikingly colorful visual style brought to life by artwork from El Huervo of Hotline Miami fame. In the game, you’ll be thrown into the otherworldly, cosmic realm of The Sarcophagus – a strange ecosystem where death does not apply, as the demon making this place its home will send you into a time loop the moment you die. Players will therefore have to hone their skills and survive in order to make it deeper and deeper into The Sarcophagus and unlock its secrets, hopefully breaking its vicious cycle in the process.
