Capcom’s recently announced team-based Resident Evil title, Project Resistance, has received a new trailer that explains the basics of roughly how the game’s going to work. Essentially, the game operates with a “4 survivors vs. 1 mastermind” setup, with each survivor possessing a different skillset. The mastermind, on the other hand, can manipulate the level from behind the scenes and must do everything in their power to hinder the survivors’ progress: they can spawn monsters and traps, use mounted turrets, lock doors or turn off the lights, and even take direct control of zombies, including the powerful Tyrant.

Signups for the closed beta test, scheduled to run between October 4 and 7, are now open for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.
