Developer Nerial and publisher Devolver Digital will be releasing Card Shark on June 2, came a recent announcement from the two companies. Starring a mute man, Card Shark has you dive head-first into the world of gambling in 18th century France – however, to make sure the cards, so to speak, are never stacked against you, you’re going to cheat. And you’re going to cheat a lot. Master the craft, learn new tricks and fool your opponents into thinking you’re just lucky, but remember: do NOT get caught. Card Shark is one of several titles I touched upon during my recent coverage of this year’s LudoNarraCon, where I called it “an absolute gem of a game”, a statement I still very much stand by.
