The name of Wadjet Eye Games at this point is more or less synonymous with point and click adventure games that aim to look and play an awful lot like the beloved adventure classics of the 90s – the company is probably most well-known for its terrific supernatural detective series,
the Blackwell saga, although it has helped publish a number of other point and click games as well over the years. Their latest offering, Shardlight, makes a shift towards the post-apocalyptic, guiding players to a world ravaged by a deadly plague, with the story’s main protagonist – she, too, infected by the lethal illness – desperate to find a cure of some kind. Other than this, not much else has been revealed about the plot, but we do know that the game will be released sometime
during the spring of 2016.
