Nowadays, GOG serves as the go-to place for most PC gamers if they crave a little nostalgia. Now, if the kind of nostalgia you crave comes in the form of old platformers, you’re in luck: we’re happy to report that the site’s repertoire has just gotten a little better with the addition of 1994 platformer classic Jazz Jackrabbit and its 1998 sequel. Created by Epic (then Epic MegaGames), Jazz Jackrabbit took the classic “The Tortoise and the Hare” story to a whole new level as the titular Jazz – a green hare – took up arms against an evil tortoise called Devan Shell. The game, designed by Cliff Bleszinski of Gears of War fame, received a sequel four years later simply titled Jazz Jackrabbit 2 – it spiced things up by adding new playable characters, as well as local and online multiplayer.
