Planescape: Torment, also known as the „best western RPG ever made” depending on who you ask, is getting an Enhanced Edition by courtesy of Beamdog, the team behind Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition. As you might suspect, the remaster will include a new interface and higher resolution support (up to 4K), a remastered score and a bunch of extra gameplay features including quicklooting, zooming and more. Original Torment designer Chris Avellone also collaborated on the project, making thousands of corrections and improvements to the script, going as far as writing some of the newly-added text (such as additional ability descriptions, journal entries and so on), the official FAQ section explains.
Planescape Torment: Enhanced Edition will be available on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android come April 11.
