The Dark Prophecy, a retro-style point & click adventure game inspired by classics from the 90s, will be launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Switch on September 16, came a recent announcement from the teams at Ratalaika Games, Start Warp and Meridian4. Set in a medieval fantasy world, the game stars a young village boy called Jacob who one day embarks on an important quest to seek out the arch mage Merlin in order to save not just his own village, but the entire kingdom as well. Fans of the genre should know what to expect – various brain-teasing puzzles to solve, a multitude of items to pick up and use, plenty of unique locations to explore and characters to talk to.
