Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will be out for PC on May 8, but Obsidian wants to make sure you’ll have plenty of other adventures to look forward to beyond the base game. The company, along with publisher Versus Evil, recently announced that the game will be receiving three expansion packs post-launch called “Beast of Winter”, “Seeker, Slayer, Survivor” and finally “The Forgotten Sanctum” – the extra adventures will offer additional quests and areas to explore, as well as new characters to meet.

The second piece of DLC, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor, will arrive in September 2018 and is being pitched as a combat-oriented expansion. Interestingly enough, the third and final DLC adventure on offer, The Forgotten Sanctum, will focus on moral questions and choices that may hold heavy consequences for the world. It will launch in November of 2018.

The three expansions can be obtained by purchasing the Obsidian Edition of the game, or by simply buying the Season Pass for $24.99. Each individual DLC will also be sold separately for $9.99 each when they’re released.
