It appears PC gamers will have to wait a bit more to get their hands on the latest Ys installment: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, originally slated for a January 30 release, has been further delayed, NIS America announced. According to a recent post on the game’s official Steam page, various framerate and memory leak issues cropped up during testing, issues that will require further work on the title to be completely ironed out. It must also be noted that the PC version’s delay will not affect the January 30 localization patch scheduled for PS4 and PS Vita.

NIS America’s full announcement can be viewed here. Furthermore, the company is offering refunds for those that have already pre-purchased the title.
