Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood, a colorful adventure game inspired in part by The Wizard of Oz, has changed its release schedule a bit: instead of launching the project via Early Access in February and then adding more and more content in smaller chunks, developer Devespresso Games and publisher Headup have decided to release the full game on April 8. As we previously reported, Scarlet Hood and the Wicked Wood is a puzzle-adventure game brought to life with a charming, manhwa-inspired visual aesthetic – it also features a storyline based around a time loop, in which our unlucky protagonist has to live through the same day over and over again.
For those of you who were looking forward to the Early Access launch in February, here’s some good news: the game currently has a playable demo out as part of the ongoing Steam Game Festival, so if you’d like to give it a try, here’s your chance. It’s available on, you guessed it, Steam.
