Indeed, you may remember that the full reimagining of the obscure 1999 action-adventure classic, Outcast, was scheduled to be released this spring. Now, it appears that those plans aren’t going to come to fruition – instead, we’ll be exploring the game’s exotic worlds this fall. We do, however, have our first trailer, just to make the wait a tad easier – have a look below. Also, if you happen to be interested in the original, its updated version is available on both Steam and GOG.

Outcast, originally released back in 1999, was a then-revolutionary third-person shooter that put you in the role of Cutter Slade, a soldier who lands on an alien planet and ends up being revered as its only savior, the so-called Ulukai. Outcast: Second Contact comes as a full remake of the original, and is expected to launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
