Set in a colorful yet endlessly dangerous fantasy world, the game begins with the news that the king is dead, with his arrogant son Magnus taking over as the new monarch. If that alone wasn’t enough, the realm is being tormented by an unholy plague called the Pestilence that corrupts everything and everyone in its way. As political strife rages on within the kingdom, you, a holy warrior known as a Cerim, must use everything in your power to stop the dreaded Pestilence. No Rest for the Wicked is described as a brutal, precision-based action-RPG where timing, skill and strategy will be of paramount importance when tackling bosses, and where players will be encouraged to experiment with different builds to find their playstyles. What’s more, the game will also support an online multiplayer mode, where players will be able to adventure alongside three friends, or simply go their separate ways and explore the shared world as they see fit.
