The highly popular dark fantasy manga Berserk is getting a new video game adaptation in the vein of the well-known Warriors (Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors) series. No gameplay footage has been shown from the title as of yet, though we did get a brief teaser and a couple of still screenshots. The game aims to utilize the action-packed gameplay of the Warriors series as it reenacts the manga’s storyline, starting from the Golden Age Arc and moving on Guts’ journey of revenge, as well as his encounter with a number of new comrades. The game will be launching on September 21 in Japan for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. A western release has also been confirmed for PS4, PS Vita and PC (Steam).
