What better way to celebrate Mega Man’s 30th anniversary than to announce a brand-new game in the main series? Indeed, your eyes don’t deceive you, Mega Man 11 is real and will be released late next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC, offering the challenging platformer gameplay you know and love (with various difficulty options) with a gorgeous 2.5D visual presentation. According to Capcom, we can expect more information to be revealed during Summer 2018.

It was also revealed that Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 (containing the 10 numbered Mega Man titles) will become available for Switch come Spring 2018, with the first collection adding a Rewind feature that allows you to roll back time after a mistake. Said feature will also be added in to the existing versions on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Furthermore, Capcom announced that all eight installments of the Mega Man X franchise will be heading to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Summer 2018. One thing’s for sure: Mega Man fans will have plenty to look forward to next year.
