2K has officially unveiled Mafia: Trilogy, a three-in-one pack of the definitive editions of all three Mafia titles – including a complete, ground-up remake of the original 2002 game.

Available to play right now, Mafia II: Definitive Edition is an audiovisual remaster of the second installment of the franchise, which includes the base game, its three story DLCs (The Betrayal of Jimmy, Jimmy’s Vendetta, Joe’s Adventures) and several bonus packs. Also, it’s being offered free of charge to anyone who already owns the original on Steam.

Mafia III: Definitive Edition is a similar package: along with the main game, it contains the three story DLCs (Faster, Baby!, Stones Unturned, Sign of the Times) and a couple of bonus packs – and it’s also ready to play right now. In this case, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners of the original all get the upgraded version for free.

The piece de resistance of the trilogy is, of course, the remake of 2002’s cult-classic, which – as previously revealed via a leak – will be available starting August 28. An upgraded yet faithful reimagining of the original, Mafia: Definitive Edition will add a variety of new features to the game, including the introduction of motorcycles and collectibles.
