Publisher CFG has launched the Switch version of Savior of the Abyss, a Korean horror-adventure game inspired by RPG Maker classics such as Ib, Mad Father and The Witch’s House. Set in an underground facility where all hell has broken loose, players will need to help protagonist Stella reach the surface without falling victim to the many dangers that await them in the dark, all the while collecting items, solving puzzles and doing all the usual things you’d expect from a game in this genre. Fascinatingly enough, Savior of the Abyss also draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft’s famed Cthulhu Mythos, with a storyline centered around the existence of unimaginable cosmic beings and the dangers they pose to mankind. Here’s a trailer:
