Publisher Skystone Games and developer Drop of Pixel have revealed that Underworld Dreams, a first-person Lovecraftian horror game currently in development, will be coming to both PC and consoles in 2021. Inspired by the famed Cthulhu Mythos, and in particular "The King in Yellow" by Robert W. Chambers, Underworld Dreams will whisk you away to the 1980s as you explore the enigmatic Groc House, a mansion filled with mystery, danger, and a whole set of mind-bending puzzles. The project also aims to place emphasis on the “survival” aspect of survival horror, with challenging combat encounters that will require players to plan their actions carefully and make sure to save their ammo and resources for when they really need them.
