It appears that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a third-person fantasy action-RPG from 2012, is getting the good ol’ remaster treatment – at least based on a leaked Microsoft Store listing that advertises the new version and even reveals its August release date. Titled Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, the remastered edition will apparently boast improved graphical fidelity and refined gameplay mechanics, and will contain every piece of DLC released for the title including The Legend of Dead Kel and Teeth of Naros.

Developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning chronicles the journey of the so-called Fateless One, a lone hero who died and was miraculously resurrected at the beginning of the game. Amalur’s world was brought to life by a host of well-known industry veterans, including renowned fantasy author R.A. Salvatore, Morrowind and Oblivion’s lead designer, Ken Rolston, as well as Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn.
